God has sent us a prophet today as He promised in the Bible, Malachi 4 vs. 5-6, “Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to their children and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”
Malachi says he is sending the PROPHET (NOT PROPHETESS) before the great and dreadful day of the Lord. This clearly is the second coming of the Lord, because his first coming, he came to die for the world, but His second coming, it is DREADFUL, FEARFUL because he is coming as a judge, to punish and burn the ungodly and the wicked. The DAY OF THE LORD as the Bible says in 2 Peter 3 vs. 10 , ‘But the day of Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up’.
You might say this Mal 4 vs 5-6 was fulfilled by the coming of John. However John’s coming was foretold by Isaiah 40 vs 3, “The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord make straight in desert a highway for our God.” And also by Malachi 3 vs. 1 “Behold I will send my messenger and he shall prepare the way before me and the Lord whom you seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the Covenant whom ye delight in: behold he shall come, said the Lord of Hosts. Lets see also what the Bible says about John the Baptist in Luke 1 vs. 16-17, “And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias to turn the heart of the fathers to the children and disobedient to the wisdom of the just to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” John only partially fulfilled Malachi 4 vs. 6 as his ministry was to introduce the Messiah and to turn the heart of the fathers to the children, But the end–time prophet messenger is to turn the heart of us children to the faith our Pentecostal fathers.
Some might say John was the last prophet as the Bible says the Law and the prophets were until John. This does not mean God was not going to send prophets, read Mathews 23 vs. 34, “Wherefore, behold I send unto you prophets and wise men and scribes and some of them you shall kill and crucify and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues and persecute them from City to City.”
The disciples were also in doubt and asked him a question in Mathew 17 vs. 10-12, “And his disciples asked him saying, Why say the Scribes that Elias must first come? And Jesus answered and said unto them, “Elias Truly shall come and restore all things but I say unto you that Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them’. If you look closely at the verse, it has a COMPOUND MEANING, it’s talking about John the Baptist who was already dead and also about ANOTHER MESSENGER, with the same anointing of Elijah (Elias) who is to restore all things. John never restored anything, he just introduced the Messiah and preached repentance saying, “…the kingdom of God is nigh…” but this PROPHET HAS TO RESTORE ALL THINGS before the second coming of Jesus Christ, as the Bible also says in Acts 3 vs. 20-21, “And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you, whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his Holy prophets since the world began’.
The last day church has drifted away from the original Bible pattern that was set at Pentecost by the Apostolic fathers, Paul wrote Acts 20 vs. 28-30, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also among your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things to draw away disciples after them.” He also says in 2 Thessalonians 2 vs. 1-3 ‘Now we beseech you, brethren by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except there come a Falling Away First, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition’. Paul prophesied as we see that religious people today, hold on to false teaching and many creeds and dogmas which are not scriptural. We see many forms of baptisms, some worshipping many gods, when there is only one true living God. Many compromising on the word of God, allowing women to preach and condoning homosexuality in their churches.
All this, is a fallen state from the original teachings of the bible. Paul wrote to Timothy ‘Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils’. ‘Timothy 4 vs. 1, The messenger has a prophetic ministry based solidly on the word of God. He is a vindicated prophet whose mandate is to RESTORE ALL THINGS and to REVEAL HIDDEN MYSTRIES as expressed in Revelation 10 vs. 7 ‘But in the days of the voice of the seventh messenger when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished as he hath declared unto his servants the prophets’. This angel is not a heavenly being but an earthly messenger. Amos 3 vs. 6-7 ‘Shall a trumpet be blown in the city and the people not be afraid? Shall there be evil in a city and the Lord hath not done it? Surely the lord will do nothing but he revealeth his secrets unto his servants, the prophets’.
God has raised a man among us in this age, a vindicated prophet and the name of this end time messenger is William Marrion Branham. He was born on the 6th of April 1909 in Wilmore Kentucky America.
Those who witnessed the birth were surprised by a strange amber light that came into the little log cabin where he was born and it hung just above him. This is the same light that you see on the photograph hanging just above this man. This light is the pillar of fire that led Israel out of Egypt. When this man was yet seven years old God spoke to him and said, ‘Do NOT drink, smoke or defile yourself with women for I have a work for you to do when you grow up’. This prophet William Branham would see visions and all the visions were fulfilled to the latter. To mention just a few, he saw the vision of an Austrian by the name Adolph Hitler and Mussolini and their involvement in war. He prophesied that the city of Los Angeles would sink into the ocean and Scientists today have confirmed that it could happen any time. He went around the world seven times, healing the sick, raising the dead and preaching nothing else but the Truth.
One day while the prophet was baptizing the 17th person out of four hundred converts at the river Ohio America (1933) in the NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (because that is the only true Christian baptism carried out in the bible) a light came down from heaven and a voice spoke and said ‘As John the Baptist was sent with a message to forerun the first coming of Christ so are you sent with a message to forerun his second coming’.
